The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

No, it's not what I meant by keeping him entertained, but hey! It's good to be well rounded, right?

I admit, I didn't get out there today. Two miles yesterday was maybe a bit too much for me, and my legs just wouldn't have been able to take it. We ran some errands which involved a lot of lifting Joseph in his car seat - I figure that makes for a good arm workout. I'll be back on the bike tomorrow!

Of course it is Kerri I've said it many times before but it still bears repetition "Women are meant to have curves not corners!"

So it turns out that ride the other day was about 2.6 miles, and today I managed 2.4.

To keep myself honest:
From what I can find online my ideal weight for my height is 156 lbs, with a recommended range between 130 and 173 lbs. Given my build, I'd be happy to make between 160 and 170.
I started out before I got pregnant with Joseph around 270 lbs.
I just weight myself at 223.8 lbs.

Perhaps once I've made a little bit of progress I'll be brave enough to post a before picture.

Indeed- it takes a lot of guts to post your weight like that Kerri. Keep it up!

I myself have been all over the place lately, mostly because my work schedule has been up and down. I normally train Monday-Wednesday-Friday (sometimes Saturday), but lately my boss has had me close the department Monday nights.

This has really thrown me off as I normally never train on my days off work (Sunday and Tuesday). However I got my ass to the gym today to do a thorough shoulder workout.

I also did 20 minutes of *gasp* cardio on the treadmill.

I'm around 155-158 lbs. Best for me to be 150. But it's 90% about staying away from extra calories.

Yeah we've just gotten back on track from dcon. Back up at 440 to work out this morning diet has been a little worse since DC but waaaayyyyy better than what we used to eat. Just gotta find a good balance. We will cut June July August for the con until then we will keep it as clean as possible. And just keep plugging away. On a side note my sister out of the blue told me she was so proud of how I did with p90x that she ordered me p90x2. Which blew me away. So we are gonna finish round two and then do some mixup x. Then x2 the first of the year.

Oh and on a side note in the legs and back routine on Saturday I did 122 pullups

Well, I fell down a bit. I haven't been feeling too good the last couple days, and we were in the car for a lot of the day on my usual ride day, so I didn't get a chance. Hoping things clear up, tummy-wise and I can head out today.

I did another 23 minutes on the treadmill today after my workout. 8)

Might not sound like much, but it's probably the most cardio I've deliberately done in the last 6 months!

Well after reading all these posts, I've been motivated to get myself back in shape at a little over 260lbs. I decided to start eating healther cut out (coca-cola) completely for one thing and get back to the gym. I lost 40lbs a couple of years ago but gained it all back, so now the crunch is on. Looking to get down to around
the 200lbs mark. Not only for my wife and kids but for me.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Well, it wasn't much, but I did 1.1 miles with Joseph today. It was painfully hot! But I'm down 3.2lbs from the other day, so I feel okay about it. Now I just need to try and make sure to eat healthy these next couple weeks while I'm on my own. I moved in with my parents when I moved down to Texas and it's so much easier to not eat crap when I have them around to keep me honest.

As you said yourself, Dom - Better to finish last than to never have even tried.

I'm really impressed at how far you've come in less than a year. You've done an excellent job of turning your life around and getting fit (I've heard the stories ;) ). You're an inspiration to all of us!

Alright, so I changed things up a little bit. Since the mail doesn't actually come to the house and I don't want to have it build up in the box, I've been doing a mile every day. It's not much, but the temps went back over 100*F, and I didn't want to have anything bad happen while I was out with Joseph. I added .4 miles today, since it was cooler, but it was tough in a couple places since the wind was pretty darn strong. I'm probably not eating as well as I should, though... I have a hard time of it when it's just me.

I'm *trying* to drink plenty of water, but I've been slacking on that too. My goal is 3.5L.
