The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Congrats Vic.
Still going strong however I lost my workout buddy. He has decided to be a kid and sleep late the rest of the summer. Who can blame him. He did so good. I wouldn't have lasted a week at his age. Gotta take a break on doubles..... for Thursday and Saturdays cardio I usually run about 3 miles but adding runs to my resistance days is to hard on my ankles. So Aug first its back to the gym. But just for my extra cardio. ( elliptical) machine. As it is our diet is 180 from what we used to eat. But for the last month we are gonna get more extreme. Wish us luck. ..

Had a pretty good workout week. I had to take yesterday off completely. But hit the gym first thing this morning. Got a 10 mile mountain bike course tommorrow. Nailed the diet chicken , rice, veggies, and protien shakes. .. 181.4 this morning

I've been taking a workout holiday for the last couple of weeks. I've really been off my game. Diet has been poor and even though my weight has stayed the same I'm feeling fat and sluggish. I have been doing the odd round of push ups/crunches/squats now and again but I wouldn't call it a workout as I'm not even breathing heavy once I've done them. Time to get back on the horse!

Did my pic scare everyone away from this thread? Anyway my new goal might not be weight orientated, but its still nice to see the numbers on the scale dropping 180.1 this morning 5 months 20 pounds down.

Wow! The hard work is paying off there. Weight isn't everything. You certainly don't look like you've got too much to worry about it that respect. And if you're aiming for the Spartan look you may even find that you weigh more once you're really cut.

Ok guys, here is my Dilemma (and I'm tired of being called names when I ask elsewhere)
I have left side neuropathy, arthritis in my lower spine, and I cannot physically sweat

I have started walking, and doing yoga (like I need to be more flexible)
any suggestion?

I will not be 'spandex ready' for this year, but I want to be for next

No gym will touch me, including curves, liability reasons.
Honestly the worst part is the no sweating, I overheat instead.

The neuropathy is just pain, I can work past that, the lower spine.. meh'

I'm trying some Yoga and just need to figure out what else might be safe
Did I mention I'm very stubborn

Pete was considering getting me a bike and trainer, for the hot seasons (nine months out of the year here)

Honestly when you consider how little I am actually authorized (yeah right) to do, I manage quite a bit, but I want to do more. I have several 'gender flip' superhero costumes I want to do.

I have lost a bit of weight this year, can now do 50 'weird as shyte' sit ups, and am walking 2.8 miles in apx 45 min.
