Phase two started today. I like the first workout. Can't do the clap/plyo. Pushups so I just used my bars and tried to explode on the way up ( bad wrist) anyway . I really didn't like the recovery week my body was used to the workouts so I wasn't sore. It Kinda felt like a waste. So I may just skip it and push through or just take it a little easy on the next recovery week .all in all its going great diet in line gas is being controlled with gas x products ( fairly WELL) .

Back and biceps should be called. "I am gonna ruin your arms for the whole day" . Wow what a workout. On a side note when I started p90x I could only do 5 unassisted pulups. Today I started with 10.... also as of today I am gonna do doubles. I have plateaud at 180 . So I will do cardio Also on my resistance days. Hopefulyy mountain biking tonight.

Finished week 1 of phase two. We are on vacation this week. We left Monday afternoon and are home Saturday. We did Mondays workout and ran 3 miles twice so far this week. Today we are going kayaking. And when I get home Saturday I plan to do both of my resistance workouts for the week. And have Sunday to recover. ..on a side note we went to the water park on Sunday and it was nice to not be so self-conscious about walking around without a shirt on.

My wife says the same thing "if I get any slimmer she wont have anything to hold on to " but I think she is just using that as an excuse to half ass her way through. I have lost faster than her. But I believe its cause of the effort I'm putting out.

Dammit! Now I'm going to have to explain to my husband why I need him to take pictures of me to show other guys on the Internet...

That's an amazing difference there, Dom! Is that just with the running and change in diet or are you sneaking in some P90X as well?

My first 5km road race is in two weeks. Once that is done I intend to start P90X again. Then I'll show you some picture. ;)

i am just over half way through p 90x , and this was the first week i completed doubles for the whole week ,next week is gonna be tough because its suppose to be triple digit temps here the begining of the week , so i guess ill have to try out cardio x . oh and on a side note dont try to run and do legs and back , right after the other , my legs are SHOT!!!!!

Last night I finally reached my weight lose target of 133lbs. I was actually 132.5. I'm really pleased. It's been a long time coming. I got so close just before Christmas and then I stopped going to my slimming group. Thankfully I was still in the right mindset about food so I didn't just put all the weight back on but I did notice that it had slowly started to creep back. I went back to group and was surprised to see that I'd only put on 5lb in 5 months (and I think most of that gain was in the last month or so). It took me four weeks to lose that again but I wasn't really dieting, rather just making better decisions about what I put in my mouth (no, I don't really need that Snickers bar). I'm going to try and stay at this weight for a little while. I may eventually reset my target for 126lb. I may have to once I start P90X.... ;)
