Managed to borrow a copy of the film. His feet are in one shot, as he leans back in his chair, but the boots are in shadow they dont look high enough to be cowboy boots though.

Thats why i chose to do the sniper steve :p i already have the most expensive part

got my STARS almost done now

I need to get a choc chip camo hat band from somewhere, and put some 7.62 rounds in there. Im using a Viper holster for now. I need to try and find an M12 holster, but all the sellers in America want far too much to post it.

Still not too sure what to do about the flak vest. i tried making an accurate one, but made a complete hash up of it. Im using an Israeli m69 copy for now.

Got The snipers walkman sorted, just looking for the right headphones to go with it.

Also need to repaint the rifle. anyone know if it needs to be black? or OD?

the more I look at it the more I'm inclined to think it may well be black after all! But then the Evilbay auction I PM'd you last night may solve your colour problem whether it's black or OD!

On a side note look closely at the pictures above has anyone else noticed the Magazine is missing from the rifle!

Indeed Vicky but, trust me, it's always a lot easier if the Mag is in place because if you fumble the loose round it won't drop through the magazine well onto the floor!

I think it might be black as well. Which is handy as I have a can of black spraypaint in the workshop
Bought the right headphones last night, and got the hat band. Just got to wait for them to turn up.

I'd love to take it to dragoncon, but unless someone can lend me a berretta and an l96 it would be abit pointless

walkman and headphones turned up today i wasnt going to bother with the screen accurate one, as someone had sorted me out with a pretty good alternative, but this popped up on ebay for dirt cheap!

also got the hat finished and rifle painted.

Just the M12 holster to go, and its finished!

Hehehe! I have been thinking about it. Just need to find a mannequin with a 58" chest. Not sure I'll be able to use that leather jacket tho. It's going to be too much for any sew machine that I've got access to. And it's picked up a bit of mould being stored in the shed for a year. May have to bite the bullet and make the whole thing out of leatherette.
