Rugby's fun. When you're built like a stick figure and play rugby with 180-200 pounds guys from the South-West of France (where Rugby's as much a religion as wine and food!), well... it hurts, yes, but man are you proud when you stop one of them cold!
Flat on the ground and gasping for air, maybe, but damn proud all the same!
As for the others... 'world' football can be kinda fun to play, but there's so much money in it than the professional side of it is played by bad actors and prima donas, for a public comprising complete and utter twerps, who find nothing better to do than turn it into nationalistic low-intensity warfare. Rugby supporters never come to blows - although it could be because the players usually bleed enough for everyone!
And 'American' football can be interesting to watch, but the whole interruption thing gets tedious. It's like all the intensity coming from the flow of the game has been replaced with impact velocity...
But that's just my opinion, eh?
