The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just received a Mad Max badge, and the part with the pin attached was broken off. I need to reattach it. Any suggestions? Solder? Some sort of epoxy?

I take it it's one of those very small nails with the pin-back (don't have a clue what the real name is) that you pinch to remove?

Did it break off cleanly? I had that happen with a beret pin- I just glued it back together with super-glue. No problems.

However my pin only had to go through a felt beret- if your pin is going through a leather jacket I would go with metal epoxy. :)

My honest suggestion. Sand the area smooth, go to Michaels and buy a new pin back and then glue it into place either with epoxy or JBWeld Quick.

No, it's got a "hinge" kind of thing at the top. You pin it through your material, and secure it with a rotory locking thing at the bottom. The top hinge part has snapped clean off.

JbWeld Quick, or you can go to Micheals and by that type of pin back if you want to replace the whole thing.

We don't have a Michaels up here in the wasteland. May have to go JBweld.
