OK look what we have now, high tech weapons with scopes/lasers etc.

Soldiers with their own cameras and mikes. Battlefield computers and ROV's

Advanced body armour designs.

Did Camerons marines predict a lot of military technology today?

In fact dare i say modern tech is rapidly taking over what Cameron created, short of the spaceships.
