The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Out of curiosity, are there any here who costume as M.I.?

I have a Facebook friend who is building a full-size warrior bug costume, which only fuels my desire to get a Mobile Infantry kit put together. Does anyone who where I can go to get the uniform and armor parts. I know where the helmet and rifle can be acquired, but everything else is eluding me. Any help would be appreciated. It is my hope to have a M.I. kit in the next year, as I would really love to face off with that warrior bug at a convention, or two.

I did sign up on the Whiskey Outpost forum. I don't know if the system is glitching over there or what. The system shows my screen name as having recently signed up, but I am still unable to log in to see any of the content. It said my account hasn't been activated. Since I have no way of getting a hold of any of the forum moderators, is there anyone here who wouldn't mind putting a bug in their ear on my behalf (yes, that was an intended pun!)? I would really appreciate the assistance. My screen name over there is the same as it is here: JK Williams. I registered on 2-19-15.

Thank you

Right.

Still waiting on a response from a PM I sent him on January 29. I didn't want to bug him, as I am merely a new guy and he is busy.

I'll be patient.

There used to be a pretty big group of SST costumers, a few of them were members here. The only ones I can remember were Sgt. Smith and Steve Radler...but I haven't seen either of them post in a long time.
There was also someone who used to offer uniforms over on the RPF, but that was years ago.

Yeah, that is the obstacle I keep running into. A lot of the armor and uniform information I come across is years old. I even tried to see if the Browncoats had any leads on armor, since they show used unmodified M.I. armor for the Western Alliance, or whatever that faction was called.

I have tried multiple times to log in. It keeps giving me the following message:

Image

Whenever I get an email from a site that shows screen name / password information on accounts that I have created, I save them in a special folder. I often email myself updated passwords, as well. I have double checked my information and I am entering the screen name and password in correctly and I am still getting the above screen captured message. Is there some other glitch in the system? Should I start over, create a new account?

And here is the message I get when I try to change my password, via the "forgot my password" link. When prompted I plug in my screen name: JK Williams and my email address: tavrikgannon@gmail.com

I know that my email address was entered correctly when I registered because I did get the confirmation email from the system stating that I did register and was waiting on an admin to activate my forum account.

Thanks for looking into this MSGT Baldwin.

Hahaha..... well played, sir!

The answer is yes, I would. I'd really like to get plugged into doing Mobile Infantry costuming. Its been on the agenda to do for a number of years now, actually. :-)
