The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Does anyone have experience with the patcesnpins(dot)com web site?

I placed an order Feb 19, and all I have received is a PayPal notice that the $$ had been accepted on Feb 19. I have tried emailing, and have not received a response.

What do you think I should do?

Ive baught a few things from Patches 'n' Pins over the years and normally they are really good! never had a problem with delivery or contact. It could be they are having some technical probs. I would pop them another email just to be sure.

Go to their homepage man, they've stopped taking orders off their website for a bit. I placed an order on Feb. 9th and the same thing happened, they gladly took my money but I've yet to see anything from them.

The problem is that I ordered a patch right from their Aliens page and never bothered to go to the main page which explains the situation a little bit. It seems their eBay store is still functioning though so I'm going to contact them that way today.

They just sent a shipping notice, and an apology. I guess I have to be nice now.

So my patch finally arrived, but it had a red thread sewn through the middle and fused on the back. They're replacing it, but between the sub par customer service and the lack of quality control in their product I'm not buying from them again in the future.

I think that the Colonial Marines (dot) net site needs to be changed to something else

When I first got into Aliens collecting, I bought some patches from ebay. Then from Starbase Atlanta.
http://www.starbaseatlanta.com/alien-aliens-page-2/

Then I started picking them up at Sci-Fi conventions.
Now I have so many extras, they fill an entire drawer. If you don't want to buy from Patches n Pins, you could buy from me. But I'm going to charge you $8 each. Starbase Atlanta is only charging $6.99
