I guess we did have that kind of funding in Desert Storm. If we needed ammo, we got it. But to tell you the truth, there was a LOT more 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R all over the place. All you needed to do was make sure there was no booby traps.

Almost did a John Basilone on myself - I was working in the armoury and picked up an M1919 after a good test-fire blatt.... OWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! :roll: :lol:
