Random thought- I realised that the perfect force to deal with The Others over The Wall and their undead Wight cohorts is the USCM-
-M41 Pulse rifles and Smartguns provides appropriate ceramic-tipped blasting to kill Others
-Flamer units toast any Wights dumb enough to lumber past the peremiter
-Motion Trackers mean they can't creep up on you even in the dark
-And sentry guns mean you can even get some kip (provided you put in some earplugs)
....Provided they don't 'go to infra red' then things might get a all 'LV426' on us

Get ready to drop on Westeros, boys
