The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

wellll...as the title says, i need some help and thought id ask here first,

the magazines that came with my two resident evil pistols, i belive the o-rings/seals/whatever on them have deteriorated since i never actually used them until just recently,
when i try to fill them, im getting much leakage while filling (dosent leak AFTER filling, just during the fill process you can hear/see the gas thats not making it into the magazine)
edit: im pretty sure its just the fill-valve o-rings
ive got a new magazine for one of them that fills fine, so i do know the differnce between "working as intended" and not :)

ive done some searching, but my google-fu is weak, anyone know how to take apart the magazines and what sized o-rings i should look for? or know where i can find guides to taking them apart ?

if it helps, teh magainzes are, the Tokyo Marui M92F magazine, and a Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle 50.AE (Hard Kick) magazine

First of all be very carefull with gas mags. They be cunning beasts. Just when you think they're empty they blow up in your face sending you to casualty for stitches in your nose/face.

First of all void the mag by pressing the button, let they rise to room temp, then void again. Repeat as many times as you are paranoid.

I did it twice times and it still got me.Then remove the mag base plate. Depending what model you have you might be able to just remove the fill valve with a flat blade screwdriver, be carefull not to damage the fill valve. Also keep it pointing in a safe direction once it's out pry off the o ring and replace make sure you use lots of silicon grease. It'll help with the final seal, especially if you put some ion the fill valve threads. Hopefully that'll be you done.

And todays lesson..? Never store gas mags completely empty. The rings dry out and they'll leak next time you fill them..
If your looking to keep the gun functional buy a couple cheap bell M9 gas mags from RSOV or similar. Leave them empty so you have a con friendly set and a set for skirmishing. You can even pull the valves so you have spares.
