I build this from a cheapo soft air pump gun ( http://www.der-hollander.de/assets/own/shotgun1.JPG ) and a Both Elefant G36K.

How many BBs do those shot shells hold?

The setup does resemble the style TM uses in it's SPAS and
Benelli shotguns.

From what I heard the shells are identical to the TM-shells. However, they only hold 7 or 8 BBs while the TM shells store 30.
I guess that's ok for a gun that costs 1/10 of the TM guns.

The muzzle energy of the German version is slightly below 0.5 Joules so that it still is considered a toy gun. International versions might be more powerfull. It fires only one BB each time.
So if you really want something for skirmishing the Maruzen M870 might be better suited. If you only want something that's nice to look at and cheap to do this is quite ok.
Actually the gun in the picture is downgraded to 0.16J. This was done to comply with the rules of the AVP-LARP. As the typical engagement range at this LARP is about 2-6m it doesn't really matter and the Alien performers don't have to worry about hundrets of bruise marks

well...., i found a deal on both of those guns, went ahead and snagged them both,

will see if I can puzzle out a good way to attach them, it cant be too difficult now can it

ive got both guns, No clue really where to go from here
since the shotgun dosent really look like wahts mounted under the g36, can i assume you made your own cage-panel-shroud-thingy for it?
and im guessing cut the front end down as well?

The shotgun was cut off right in front of the pump handle. Also the rear grip and the mounting point for it was removed.
Then I build a "box" like this (the main elements were screwed together using cut off material of the side elements):



The side parts are made from 35x20x2mm L-shaped aluminium (from the local hardware store/Home Depot). The shotgun is 36mm wide, so it fits perfectly.
The two front parts are cut from 40x3mm flat aluminium (the rear one is 2mm smaller on each side and on the top to fit between the side elements).

The one above is a G36K (4 slots in the front housing).
I fear a G36C (even shorter front with only 2 slots) will look strange with this mod.
Maybe with a barrel extension and a PR barrel shroud
Let's see what you come up with...

oookay then...i have bought a barrel extention, as well as the mid size handguard..workin on the shotgun....ive seen some pretty cool mods for the G36C RIS sights to make it look like the pulse's....this may take me a while due to unfortunate lack of money unless i trade in my Desert Eagle from which i dont think i want to see go yet =P...im buying some OD spraypaint tomorrow and working on finding quick dry resin to mod the sights

i should..i found some OD paint and unfortunatly th can was already jammed upon purchase -_- so i now need to get more paint...ive seen some damn good pics cept they use a modifyed airsoft M203 instead of shotgun...i like the shotgun more

I'd suggest painting it OD, but keep all the 'accent' parts black.

So things like grips, controls, screws, butt plate, sight rail and any recessed parts.
That should make it look like the OD parts are some kind of tactical shroud.

It's a bit hard to explain without drawing it.... and I don't have Paintshop or anything.
