The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi everybody! 1st time visitor to this site. I didnt know it exsisted untill a friendly eagle showed me the way here.
Anyroad up, he thought you guys might like to see this,

http://groups.msn.com/M4A1PulseRifle/sh ... lbumlist=2

Its been built around a cyberguns thompson but "should" fit any other make. In its present form there is no glue holding it together, its all done with screws. A little more work is needed before it goes under rubber but not much.
Anyhooo, enjoy.

Hey Glenn
How goes it mate? hope you and yours are all ok. Yep the good old days at cheshunt, blimey time flys when your.......Id rather not think about it. Thanks for the compliment
As for telling me whats wrong,, nature of the business mate and im sure i'll get my fair share.
I've tried to stay faithful to the original design, but having seen the original props... well I like my hardware clean and straight.
Trying to sort out a working counter but not to fussed as the kit will go out as a static resin kit. and that depends on what laws come in around the end of the month.

Sound like an excellent cause to support, there. Hate to think of any new recruits being starved of pulse rifle fun if they choose not to go the airsoft plus G&P kit route

I do believe if the weapon is cast/painted in an unrealistic colour then you are in the clear.

It's then the end purchaser who 'breaks' the law when they paint it in realistic colours.

I'm no solicitor, though.

Apparently it's legal to own and use replica guns (not in public of course) but it's illegal to sell or import a replica weapon (or anything resembling a firearm even) unless it is being sold to a registered Airsoft enthusiast, film maker or reenactor.

Good job I run a digital production company ;)

This is apparently to cut gun crime (meaning kids being shot in dodgy areas) :? How many people have been killed by a resin pistol??

The problem isn't the replica weapons - it's the real friggin guns out there

Funny thing is that very recently the news has featured youths playing with replica weapons in public and nobody saying or doing anything about them - coincidence (I mean the reporting of)?

Utter madness!

Personally, I'm just wondering why didn't you angle cut the mag base to match the front slope of the shroud? :)

Either way, the rifle still looks good. Well done.

It is around a BB firing thompson. and i did think of angle cutting it but thought it would be too much of a point at the bottom. at the end of the day it could still be cut/ground into any which way, its just resin.
