The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Post subject: Great deal on Airsoft Thompson for NON-FIRING PR builds

I just wanted to pass along this info, as I think some of us would find it beneficial. Kapowwe.com is selling what they are categorizing as "broken" CyberGun Thompson M1A1 Airsoft Rifles (check the details in the link):

http://www.kapowwe.com/Merchant2/mercha ... ore_Code=R

Now, they claim that some of them may even fire, but to me, if you're looking for an economical way to have a clone of the $300 Tokyo Marui M1A1 this might be it. I personally purchased a working CyberGun from a local sporting store on sale for $150 and never intended for it to fire in my PR build. I would have definately paid half price for one of these (I still might buy one now)

I got one of these from a sporting goods store and the wrapping was open.. Didn't get a sling and a screw is missing out of the battery cover. Oh well. It was on sale and I will make a better sling when I build my PR

I got one of these todayi n the mail. It is in great condition. Everything came with it, and It shoots fine. Ok I've never had an airsoft rifle before, But I shot at some cardboard boxes today, and bb's went through 4 layers before imbedding in the 5th, and that was just plugging the battery in out of the box.

It had a defective tag on the box. The complaint was that it did not shoot constantly.

A great deal. Thanks for the info on this.

Stapleton, did you buy from the kabowwe "Store Returns" section? I was thinking about doing that as well.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't really planning on shooting anything so if it doesn't work, its not really a problem for me.
