The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Myself and Rich 'Wideload' Bown were talking recently about getting involved in airsofting. Rich used to be a professional paintballer, and as neither of us have attended an airsoft skirmish before we were wondering as to the similarities and differences?

id say its similar to paintballing, but more realistic. we use realistic weapons and loadouts, and the game relys on good teamwork and military tactics

I'd consider it, but it all depends on the date: I doubt many people can say for sure without a date.

In addition, the uniform rules are a bit unhelpful: I have ACU trousers and a multicam jacket and a full set of DPM  I did get Abe to try my A/S kit on, but it wouldn't fit so it would be human me.

Shame the organisers didn't contact MEEEEEE! : I have already discovered (in the process of forcing him into the suitcase) that BBs do little damage to him.
