Post subject:  Looking for the closest spray paint color match to G & P
I've got an itch to paint a Nerf Longshot to match up with my G & P PR. The PR is in its stock form right now, so I'm looking for some paint that would match the shrouds on the G & P setup.

I realize that I could just paint the shrouds and the Longshot using the same paint, but I'm rather partial to not taking the PR apart again - it was a real headache when I discovered that I put the bracket that connects the Spas Pump to the gray tube the surrounds the shotgun shell in backwards.

Any color suggestions? It's not like I can take the PR to my local Wal-Mart or something like that :) I'll probably take the magazine cap down to the store, but if anyone's actually approximated the G & P color with spray cans, I'd love to know what brand and color was used.

That's what I use my original G+P bottom for.

Color matching only. I went to Finishmaster to

get a match. They supply auto body shops.

I spray with a hvlp spray gun.

I figured the only way to get a proper color match would be get a custom color mixed.

Did you experiment with spray paints before getting the color custom made?
