The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

hi. just a quick question. i finished making my G&P Pulse Rifle the other day and when i plugged in a 9v battery in the ammo counter connector an switched it on it only read 00. to make it read 95 i have to push on the shroud near the ammo counter switch(little metal piece). any1 know how to make it read 95 without having to push the switch in, or do i have to do something for it to read 95. hope for replies.

Try some gaffers or duct tape on your mag

in that upper section where the switch depresses.

I had to do that.

I ended up glueing a thin bit of plastic to the side of the mag, using tape to hold a bit of lolly stick to the mag at first, so I could work out where exactly it was needed and how small I could make it. 8)

Bend the metal micro switch so there a 30 degrees bend.

It works every time without moding the magazine.
