The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Anyone here able to create a custom gas tank? My hero PR doesn’t have much capacity for the gas for the M870 in the SPAS cage... anyone with the know how I could speak to about this? Ta

What kind of space is there? Would a gbb pistol mag fit in somewhere?

There’s not much room at all. SAS did an outstanding job of fitting everything in... really I think the gas supply would need to be contained within the SPAS cage... I will attach some photos...

I the pic with the SPAS cage on the shrouds you can see how little space there is in the shrouds so it’s all had to be put into the SPAS cage. SAS had an excellent idea to simply loop back the feed tube through the cage... I will put up some pics showing the route of the pipe and the refill port... the M870 does work but it runs only on what the pipe can hold and has no larger reservoir to store the gas... I’m not sure it’s going to be easy to find some thing to fit in the space available...

Here’s some pics showing the route of the pipe to a charging port... the pipe doubles back along the M870... it’s an amazing build by SAS... the notes on the pics were his thoughts in his design. Like I say... brilliant. Just wondering if it’s possible to incorporate a tank at some stage...

Maybe the tank could be in the shrouds? Maybe the rear sight portion?

The problem would be having a tube route down to the SPAS cage without snagging

Could the block that holds the spas to the Thompson be hollowed out? (Just trying time think out the box!)

I will have a look... I suppose it might be possible to have the gas tank sat just above the SPAS cage - has anyone ever seen the size of the tank within a pistol mag? I’ll see if I can find any images...

Is anyone still in contact with Darren "friendlyskies"? Kemp?

He had a custom Maruzen M870 gas tank in his PR ... I know this because I own it.
Unfortunately, that PR is in storage at the moment, else I'd pull it out and take a look.

The gas tank in an airsoft pistol magazine is the magazine itself. As mentioned already you would probably be best off putting a tank within the shroud or just using longer tube and running it through the shroud so it holds more gas.

There’s always Co2 cartridges too, not sure where or how you’d fit one though
