There is a post count you have to hit and it opens automatically. It is not a very high one, but you know there has to be something to keep the spammers and scammers out of that area. Look around at the threads and state a few opinions. It will appear.

I don't believe the post count is listed anywhere. I think it's in effort to keep people from making posts light of content just to access the PX and then never be heard from again

That's why it was set up that way. It's really a pretty low number. Just participate in discussions and you should be in pretty quickly. :)
