Just looking for some good tips on how to add a shoulder strap / sling to my rifle without having to mod the gun heavily, just something I can just to either pull out my sidearm or sling over my back during games if I run out of ammo. I'm sure plenty of people have done it before but trying to find this specific mod has proven difficult. Thanks in advance guys. bonus pics of the gun just because; https://imgur.com/a/hfuU9D2 |

The easiest way is to put two key ring split rings on. On the barrel vent and one on the stock. Then you can just attach your sling to them. Or for some thing that looks a bit better i used small wire clamps and bolted them on the vent and stock. Hope that helps |

I've made sling loops from black zipties with some success. I've also used parachute cord loops. I thread them through the stock and barrel vent, then attach a sling. |

While I can't vouch for the durability of this method in an airsoft rifle, it is somewhat 'screen accurate' to just clip it right to the vent. (The infamous "10-hole" vent had no sling point) Attachment: For the rear I used these on my son's mini pulse. They are cheap and pretty strong. I dabbled with removing one of the screws in my old airsoft and drilling out the hole a bit wider, then forcing/epoxying in a steel "eyelet". While I sold the airsoft off and never completed the mod, I believe it would have worked. Attachment: Untitled.jpg [ 12.23 KiB | Viewed 6685 times ] |

Thanks in advance guys. bonus pics of the gun just because; https://imgur.com/a/hfuU9D2 Get a set of M-Lock rail attachments , and two quick release (Spring loaded) sling mounts. Find the rear most screw hole for where the Thompsons tatock would go, find a 6mm bolt that is long enough to fit in the rearmost Thompson stock mounting position, cut one of the M-Lock adapters to fit, screw bolt through M-Lock Adapter. Add one quick detach sling mount assembly. Chose which side you want to mount front portion of sling to (left or right), attach M-Lock picatinny attachment to barrel vent by holding M-Lock attachment nuts through barrel vents and also a washer, attach last QD sling release assembly, run sling throught both QD peices. You now have a sling mount setup that works fantastic, looks (mostly) like ot belongs, and will not do damage to the collapsable stock. If I can figure out how to put pics up, I’ll post some up here for it, my PEQ Battery Box, and my picatinny sight/scope rail. |

Thanks that's helpful - so two of these? https://www.blackrifle.co.uk/MDT-M-Lok- ... mdt-qd.htm bloody expensive! I swapped the plastic S-Biners I was using with some simple small wire keyring loops and threaded them through the same spots, through the sling and then just screwed them together, these things: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LYCT9GO Upload your pics to https://imgur.com/upload and just post the links here! |

Okay, I linked it to https://m.imgur.com/gallery/Krgqo3v The qd sling sets and m-lok picatinny rail: https://m.imgur.com/gallery/xEy6MUl For a scope mount rail, you will want a longer peice and youd use for the sling rails. You can buy them in several lengths. The M-lock hardware makes it easier to keep on the barrel vents when you use a nylon washer up against the vent. If you look around, you can find all of it for a good price. You could use a polymer rail but I prefer the aluminum.
