I'm looking to shorten my king arms mid caps to suit my snow wolf pulse but I can't seem to get the springs out. I've removed the pins but it didn't seem to help! Does anyone know how to get these out so I can cut them down?

I have a thread from 3 years ago in this section:

"8 midcaps with about 93 rounds each. That's not so good....."

The links are bad since imageshack started charging for their service.

I should have the images, let me upload them on to imgur.

should just be friction holding them in place.

Thanks Matt :) I saw the thread, but as you say the images are gone.

Maybe I'm being thick, but the end caps seem to be mouldered in place. I'm probably going about this the wrong way!

OK, so I've got the springs out now I just need to shorten the mags, and come up with something to use as mag stiffeners. May have to use styrene or something similar. I have access to a 3D printer now but I don't know how to model stuff so my attempt will be a lot less professional than Noble's!
