Has anyone modified their airsoft Pulse Rifle in a way that makes it possible to remove the lower receiver without having to pull the shroud?

I want easier access to pull the gearbox, without having to go through an Act of Congress.

The lower receiver rides on an internal rail/channel system with a spring locking button on the back end. Not sure how easy it would be to mod that.

I think it should be fairly easy...
You'd need to trim back the lower edges of the shroud enough to let the trigger mechanism housing slide backward without catching on the controls. Pretty much everything from the magazine well to the rear strap. You'd also need both straps to be easily removable, so perhaps modding some bolts to be spring-retained pins that you can just pop out?
