Hey All,

Planning to have a fully functional Airsoft hero built this year by SAS... Has any one got s fully assembled hero they'd share some images of and descriptions of features please?

Well, I documented this build pretty extensively in in my "pulse madness Hero-ish" build thread here but these are the bullet points.

Features:
-Real SPAS parts, HCG Metal shrouds, SD GL block, & Scratch built stock/vent/mag base
-Uses King Arms Thompson and APS Cam870 (shell cycling) airsoft guns
-Majenko Ammo counter/board

I still need to re-weather it after I repainted it.

Veeeeeeery nice!

My list of parts are:

- HCG Shrouds
- TM Thompson Airsoft
- Maruzen M870 Shell Cycling Airsoft
- SD STUDIOS Stock, end block, barrel vent (8 hole) and barrel triangle
- Noble sling & pad
- Original SPAS cage and pump handle

I'll be using the pistol grip from my G&P kit... Possibly the counter...

Is yours functioning Airsoft wise?

Sure is! Well, at present the magazine alteration I did jammed.

I new I would permanently attaching my mag base, so I couldn't use the short mag that has the 'winder' on the bottom. I wanted to get one that was simply spring fed. However, I couldn't find a spring fed METAL short mag. So I pulled all the guts out of the metal one and tried to slide in a chopped (shorter) spring fed mag guts. It worked great for a while, but at some point the spring got stuck somewhere deep within the mag.

I'll have to pull it apart and reinstall everything. But before THAT, its airsoft function worked great.

While I haven't fired the shotgun/GL portion as I don't have the adapter to fill each shell with CO2, I am positive it works. It cycles shells and the hammer falls as designed.

I forgot to say I'll be using SD STUDIOS mag bases...

Also... SAS will be completing my build as I am RUBBISH at that sort of thing!
