The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Looking at my links I had forgotten about Atlanta Airsoft. After getting there addy I see they are 17 miles or 30 min. drive from the hotels. I see the store is open till 6 M-F. It is open Saturday but does not give times. Site says 11,500 sq feet warehouse and store. I figure this is one answer if something is needed. Has anyone been there before? Pics look like the store is stocked.

http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/about.htm

Thanks!

Greg

I've never been there myself but have asked in past years.
If I recall the answer I got was that it really wasn't worth the drive.

But I'm sure some locals can give you a better answer.

Yeah I think it was Noeland who said it wasn't fantastic. Not to say it was bad- but not worth leaving the convention for a few hours for.

Mind you since we don't have airsoft stores up here in Canada- if I were to walk in there I would probably feel like a kid in a candy store! 8)

Me and a couple of friends stopped in there on our way into Atlanta for D*Con last year and, though I am not an airsoft skirmisher, I was pretty impressed with the amount of goodies they had there.

Last time I checked, they were closed on the weekends...but that was awhile back....

they have moved more towards the higher end stuff too...we used to go in there and buy busted guns for near nothing..

By the site it looks like quite a few things there. I figure is someone forgets or needs something, it is an option.

Thanks!

Last time I was in the storefront (around my birthday end of July) they had changed the setup some. It's a little more welcoming to walk into now, and they hired a couple of people who aren;t afraid to say Hi to you as well, which makes a difference.

They made it a bit bigger, and rearranged it a little, and have begun to stock a lot more affordable springer models, and gas blowback airsofts.

I looked at, and almost bought a luger artillery model.

:D

They had some VP's with stocks at that time, and had quite a few TM thompsons.

I walked out with some springer guns, and few red dot scopes. The UHC python revolver I picked up is already broken!

:)

Rumour has it they are planning further expansion, so by next Dcon, might be worth it to stop in and do some shopping.
