The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've got a short somewhere in my G&P Build Pulse rifle that's causing the round counter to go mad and register bursts that I'm not firing.

Does anyone have a good link to a guide to stripping the little devil down?

Kind thanks in advance!

Jon L

In the classic 'Haynes Manual' pessimism I have where reassembly is optimisticallyy described as 'the reverse of the assembly process', I was concerned if there were any 'subtleties' I need to be aware of.....the kind subtleties that require a large hammer and an oath to The Elder Gods.

You can also check out my thread listed in my sig as well. The hardest part is separating the rear handle area of the shrouds. The pins are a pain. When you go to rebuild it I suggest leaving the pins out. But that's just me, and a few others. Before tearing it apart try a fresh battery first. Also remember the stock counter, I believe, does not count down shot for shot except on semi auto. On full auto it does skip a few. At least the two I had did.

Thanks- I'll do that but I'm pretty certain it's a short.... tapping the base of the mag results in 'shots fired' on the counter jumping down by 15-30 or so.
