The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Awesome paint job and mods. Did you use a metal or resin grenade?

Gwen used to make labels but I haven't seen a post from her in a while. You could try sending her a PM. Alternately, feel free to use this image I made.

I print them out on clear stickers and apply them opposite the ammo counter.

thanks, i appreciate that. its just a resin one, polished the bit that slides back and forth with the pump and drilled a little dipple in the front like the real ones have, cant see it in the pic though.

was going to get one of these metal etched ones but not that keen on the shape. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1300095 ... pe=gallery

am also after some of the mag base bottoms that someone advised me could be found here.

I have one of those plates off Etsy. They are quite cool, but be advised that they are plastic, not metal.

Your PR looks great and so does that coat! Are you going to do the pressure lacing on the sleeves?

thanks. i was going to but the g-suits that they are from are practically impossible to find here and not cheap when you do and you are destroying it just for the lacing and then possible end up destroying the jacket o not gonna bother now.
which side did you but your data plate?

I put it under the counter as I have a side-mounted grenade holder on the other side.
I made my laces with two sizes of OD bias tape and paracord. The idea of cutting up a rare g suit didn't appeal to me either.
