The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This may or may not be new news, but I was just checking out misc, sites and discovered yet another pulse rifle kit at an affordable price. With prices like these resin cast options will surly reduce in appeal.

Does anyone know anything about this kit (Link Below)? At a glance it does not appear to be as accuate as the G&P. Your thoughts?

Uhh... wasn't this the same kit that was offered completely built for $1200.00 originally?

 *jump starts his heart*

Well don't that beat all!! They cut their price nearly in half!!

Glad I didn't get it for $1200.00 dollars!!

Pezmeiser purchased this PR from airsoftclub. Pez, I hope you didn't pay that much for it- if you did, I'm sorry my friend.

Pez can answer best, but he was having many customer service related problems with airsoftclub (not returning his emails). I think he was having trouble with the counter as well (he may not even have gotten a counter at all if I am remembering correctly).

I'll let Pez take it from here.

It actually isn't the same. For $1200, they hand built it themselves, had a couple more features on the gun itself (such as sling points), and most importantly had an electrically driven box magazine with 1000 round capacity. The current kit is pretty plain jane compared to the $1200 rifle.

I was under the impression that they bailed on making the 1000 round mag due to the high cost/difficulty of doing so.

Anyone know better?

You can only get the drum if you order the $1200 full weapon.

No way, Jose. If I was buying one of these (which I'm not) I can live with swapping mags every so often and save myself $600. :)

But then in most circumstances I'm a cheap bugger.

Hehe, well, it has to do with the fact that the whole gun is built around the electric magazine. Pulling the trigger not only fires, it winds the mag and counts down the counter at the same time :P
