The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok, this may seem like a blatant abuse of this forum, but it's really not.

I get a lot of requests from people asking if my Sparmor can be used for airsofting or paintball. As I don't really play either, and have never tested my armor in either realm, I've never been able to answer this question with any conviction.

So my question to you guys is, have any of you actually tried using my armor for airsofting or paintball, and if so, how did it hold up? Of course, this may also depend on how old your armor is. As newer suits (in the last year or so ago) are made out of a thicker plastic, and molded in black instead of white. So please mention that info in your response.

Please let me know.

In case Tony feels that this type of post is a little too self-serving, feel free to e-mail your responses to me directly.

That is, unless Tony feels this is info of use to all of us....

Looking forward to hearing what you think.

Just skirmished in my armor last week during a USCM theme game my USCM team held. The armor is completely undamaged, despite all of the beating I gave it. I'd be lying if I said *I* wasn't undamaged, but the armor isn't even dented. You have some mighty strong armor there, Spat.

Spat, did I ever get you the vacced plastic "lab test" photos?

And IMHO, the question about your armor, and airsoft skirmishing, is a valid one.

I know you sent them to me way back when, but I can't find them. I also can't find that report you made about it. If you still have it, I'd love to check it out again!
