The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So I brought a 2 tone PR and I've got my hands on some OD shrouds. However, I'm struggling to get the blue shrouds off. It's a nightmare at the stock end. Should I be taking the sliding stock off before trying to get the shrouds off?

Dunno if it's exactly the same as a Snow Wolf, but they may have glued some of it.

I did that to mine to stop it squeaking when holding the shroud by the handle.

BTW, you bought it.

Hmmm. So hold it over a bowl of boiling water, just in case?

And thank you. :)

Taking apart a SW PR for the first time can be a pain. Yes, the roll pins near the rear of the shroud are the hardest to separate. Use a butter knife or similar to gently pry up around the housing and eventually they will separate. When it comes time to reassemble the gun LEAVE THE PINS OUT!!

Just a note..I could not pull my roll pins out, no matter how hard I tried. So I drilled the receivers out a little and the pins slip in and out without catching.
