The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello All,

I was rather chuffed when I managed to locate a TK VP70 last weekend...

Does anyone know whether there was an after-market steel slide upgrade produced for it?

I've ordered some gas and BBs to give it a test... But this'll look great in the SPAT holster I'll be ordering shortly!

Anyone got any ideas as to where I could possibly get another spare magazine?

You lucky, lucky so and so!

As to your request: rocking horse poop/hen's teeth/ Holy Grail are the phrases that spring to mind :(

There was a UHC/ Clone model with a pot-metal slide that did the rounds about 3-4 years back which might make a decent donor.....There's anecdotal evidence that 'some Japanese shop' made a metal slide set for it- but I've never seen one offered for sale.

Good luck!

Thanks Jon... Yes, I've lucked out finding this... It cost me £175 mind!

I'm new to this Airsoft lark... I just missed out on some mags being sold by skapunkninja...

I've no idea where I'd source a UHC for a donor slide... Like you say, trawling the web there seems to be half a hint at an upgrade but no links to being able to get one... I've not even seen an image for one...

I'll keep hunting...

Regards,

Pete

Good luck finding any parts for these. if you do find a place do share. I scored one for $40 bucks from a buddy but was missing the mag and the recoil spring. i have no issues with that due to it being a Con gun only but would be nice to have a spring lol.

Thanks Matt! No steel slides though! Damn! I presume you need the beefed up spring for the metal slide... What's the score with the tight barrel? Is that to aid blowback or for more accurate shooting?

Have you seem any of the slides going anywhere? Would really like to complete my TK...

Cheers,

Pete

Be warned [ie don't get you hopes up too high] DenTrin is notorious for NOT updating stock levels :(
Doesn't hurt to ask em of course.

I have got Shooters slides, 150% recoil spring and also the tigher barrel from DenTrin a number of years back.

Give the VP a very nice look with correct trademarks and I mirror poilsh the front sight ramps.

The first link he posted was for the metal slide/barrel kit.

They're out of stock of slides from the site by the looks of it, Russ
