As predicted -- one of the Airsoft shops in Mong Kok, Hong Kong has now the Japanese copy of that nice Blade Runner Blaster I posted on an old Board thread. Retail price converted from HK Dollar roughly US$450. The shop is a larger one, but I'm not sure they have a web site or do overseas orders. Unfortunately -- no images cuz I'm in the middle of upgrading my digital camera -- sold the old one but haven't the replacement camera yet.

That's a little pricey. What they should do is make a fully functional blaster that has electronics in it and shoots blanks. That'd definately be worth $450.

Actually, they use the M29 cap pistol to make it, so "technically" it does fire blanks.

And just FYI it's an unliscensed knock off of the RAC Blaster.

Unfortunately inaccurate ... I do go through old Hong Kong on the way to other destinations twice per month. There's some talk by my boss that I may wind up moving there. I don't honestly like H.K. very much (too crowded) except for all the cool toys they have there. H.K. has been a source for toy buying for me since I was 5 years old ...

I don't own the Blaster, as that price will get you 90% to a Pulse Rifle Airsoft in HK.

I have a limited resin version of the BR Blaster that comes in a nice wooden patina box with a hook with a plaque on the box. Someone said it was made in Europe some where.
