Right, unsure where to chuck this, but i figured i might as well put it here. Anyway, since action hobbies has the twotone G&P clone... thing, they did a while back, for crazy cheap at the moment, i'm probably going to grab one to pop apart and repaint, plus strip the insides of everything dakka, since i have no intent to use it for such. What i'm curious about is, can anyone who has one tell me how tough the things are to take apart to the point where i can repaint the shroud? is it just going to be screws and tools, or is there anything filled in i'll have to drill out? Either way, it's not a big problem, but i'm curious as to how much hassle it'll be. Also, hi, haven't posted in yonks, some of you know me in varying degrees, 'tis kyle, white and red spiky mandalorian dude. Hoping to get more involved and aim to get a marine put together at some point in the grim darkness of the far future. |

Piece of piss to dismantle, dude ![]() Allen keys and screwdrivers, IIRC? It's basically a standard AEG with a factory-made body kit. |

Awesome, works for me then. Just checking the prebuild didn't do anything stupid like pump something gluelike over any of the screwholes. Long as i can get it taken apart, i can get it primed and airbrushed up nice. Cheers mate! |

Hi pips Just Joined the site I got the two tone snow wolf from action hobbies and it not the easiest thing to take apart but can be done. Once you got the screws out you need to pop the case apart which has 4 pins holding it together (thats the hard part), use a flat head screw driver to slowly pry apart. Then respray job done. As a airsoft gun I'm happy with it, mag change a pain mind you. |

yeah, as pike said, i recently sprayed up my two tone and its pretty hard to get the shroud in half. there are metal pins located at all the main areas which are show in the manual it comes with. you will need some patients getting it apart but they are really strong and well made. a few times i was half expecting my shroud to snap but it held out. heres mine ![]() |
