The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've used a clipdraw to clip a 1911 to the outside of my trousers - it doesn't work so well.

Still, game magic! if you're looking for a cool way to carry a sci-fi sidearm, I'd go with the Foebus - hell, I'd go for a Foebus every time when airsofting.

My brain can't even get it's head around that Race holster. I'll stick with the Foebus ;)

Now then- I've acquired a Tanaka S&W M327 R8 as an EU type revolver- really looks the part as a futuristic wheeliegun.

Fitting a holosight to the top rail and a laser sight to the under-rail as a nod to Quarritch's sidearm in that other Jim Cameron Sci-fi epic with the giant blue space kitties :D

In AvP 2 for PC, the handgun was a Mk. 23 SOCOM. In the 2010 AvP game, it was an M9 with laser projector on an accesory rail. I personally am planning to go with either a 1911, a Mk. 23 SOCOM, or an FN 5-7 as my non-Veep sidearm.

WG is to Tanaka as a Trabant is to a Rolls Royce.

I'll stick with the R8. :)
