The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi guys and girls, i have recently purchased a snow wolf M41A and I'm looking to paint it up however I'm looking for suggestions as to what I should put on it in order to personalise it; at the moment I'm toying with the idea of either a military pinup girl on the magwell or Red Japanese lettering similar to the back of hicks's armour but I would love to hear anyone's suggestions :D

thanks.

Personalising your weapon is a very personal thing, surprisingly... Same for armour.
I could give you plenty of ideas, but they'd be meaningless unless they came from you.

I painted up wildeone's PR with a Metalocalypse reference. My old one had "point AWAY from face" on it. I've not not got round to thinking up something for my current one.

Its all down to personal preference =]

Fish it down???

If that is anything like jumping over the couch and saying pew pew pew, then yes that is normal. ;)

I decided to go with a greeny brown colour similar to the original athough chocolate brown sounds pretty nice

So this is what I've go to work with now that it's been painted. i tried the Japanese lettering idea and it didnt work very well so i have no idea what to do next. how do you guys go about putting details on yours? is there any specific process or method you use e.g. stencils, transfers or just freehand painting?

Looks great mate :)

I personally did my customising freehand, I figure a grunt in the middle of space wouldn't have access to anything overly arty:

I got one of the twotones from ActionHobbies, the green ones were sold out (and they knocked £40 more off the price for the non-RIF, IIRC), I was planning on painting it black with W-Y logos on the side without the counter. Thought I could save any real custom stuff for when do my build.

Getting ideas are fine, but I would suggest you do NOT copy anyone's else's grafitti.

I know I wouldn't be too impressed if someone copied mine.
