One of my friends runs commercial airsoft events, and he's doing a Firefly OP. I've actually never seen that stuff, having been in training or working too much, but it seems that you guys here might enjoy it. I doubt I'll have time, but I figured it'd be a hoot to show up in USCM gear!

Scenario

Set 500 years in the future, humans have colonized and terraformed a planetary system of unknown location. The system contains core planets and "border" planets. As a general rule, the farther out one travels , the less civilized society becomes. The core planets allied under a single government, The Alliance, and declared war upon those planets that wished to maintain their independence (the The Independent Faction, often referred to as "Browncoats"). This series of events is recalled as the Unification War. The Alliance was victorious, and those surviving independents migrated towards the outer planets.

Alliance Forces - Full Olive Drab, Woodland or ATAC BDUs only. No civilian clothing allowed!

Du-Khang Independent Militia - Black top and blue jeans with cowboy hat. $5 off of registration fees if you wear a duster/brown coat and or cowboy hat! No BDU patterns allowed!
