The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Mmm, nice. Hudson or the Wa Shan?
I had a Hudson DX but sold it after getting a Wa Shan (as it's actually skirmishable with).

The metal & wood Wa Shan. I modded it to more accurately resemble the shotgun from the original Mad Max.
Stripped some paint here, added a grip spacer there. The only thing it lacks is the checkering on the wood grips. :(

I'm pretty pleased overall. One day I'll actually get my MFP uniform done. Sadly, that's likely not to happen for
a good while yet.

The pistol, that is.

Did you need any more attachments on that gun? ;) mine is currently stockless because I'm changing some bits on it, but I'll post a picture of it shortly.

I've also got a Co2 jericho which I use to take out snipers with.

I added the angled foregrip (not pictured in the side view) and have a collapsing stock on the way.

The Holosight is irritating me though because when used with the magnifier (as you should be) there's some sort of lens parralax which causes the view to be blurry as heck. :(

It sucks because the combo would really rock!

Is that an AFG you've got on the front? I've been meaning to give one a spin for a while, how do you find it to use?

It's... okay. I'm more used to either no grip, or a vertical grip, and I just mounted it tonight and haven't had a chance to actually put it to use more than just holding the rifle for a few minutes.

When the new battery arrives, I'll take it for a spin. :)

I may need to slide it back a notch or two as well. I'm more familiar with the
MP5 ergonomics, so an "AR" style platform will take some getting use to.

That's an awesome shot, man!

Have you managed a solution/fix for your Swordfish's alignment issues? Any cool shots with it?

No. The swordfish is FUBAR until I can find a true MP5 NitroVO top rail. *sigh*

If my sources come up empty, I may have to recast the rail I have, chop up the casting, resection it to the correct length/shape and remould it again.

OBVIOUSLY, finding the correct one would be easier in the long run (cheaper too!)

I got a strike kit from RSOV. The top rail doesn't fit an ics mp5 mxpro. Bit of dremel underneath and cutting of a section of rail that would got over the rear sight and all is fine. Stuck a laser on the side. With the MX Pro having that odd stock and ribs up the lower receiver it gives it a really interesting "near future scifi" look. I think the whole kit was £80 in shipping.

I'll upload some photos when I get a chance.

I may have a line on an actual MP5 top rail set for the Swordfish, as opposed to the MC51 version I was sold.

When I get my body armor back from Dan, I'll take a pic of the NEST uniform as it is right now.
Overall, I was mostly happy with the way it turned out. Mostly. ;)

The Masada/ACR is about as done as it's going to get for now. I still need to fabricate a rail foregrip extension
unit and make the custom muzzle brake, but for now, it works.

One bad thing I discovered is with the rail foregrip in place... you can't fit a mini-battery in the weapon. :(

There's just not enough clearance for the thing to fit... which sucks because I bought a 1600 mAh batttery for it as well.

I wish the designers has used a clue when they made that rail front end. I don't really feel like grinding
the interior of the thing up with a dremmel, but we'll see.

The ics mx5 pro is alos a nightmare for getting a battery in. Long term I wold expect the ris to break. In the end I got a 3 point battery sling which means that i can have a full size battery. They just run a pair of silicone sheathed wires inside the sling to a pounch on the back of the shoulder with the connector dropping in through the foregrip.

The other method ive tried in the past is a battery pouch painted up as it its a first aid dressing pouch.

The wires are a bit on the short side. I can get it to come out the front of the RIS and then flip around to the side, but there's not a lot of length.

I may end up running an outboard box. I was amazed at how front end heavy the thing is with the optics and RIS foregrip installed.
For skirmish purposes, I'd probably remove the magnifier as it doesn't work with the holosight like its supposed to anyway. :(

Yeah, I just have a velcro battery bag on the bag of my Mp5, I attach it to the stock and we're good to go.

My Spetz is far nicer, as it has a deans battery custom fit into the stock. It'll never come out again though, so i'll need to remove the stock to poke it out with some pliers.

the battery sling comes with quite a decent length of wire built in. There is enough extra that it runs from the front clip out enought that i feed that into the ris rail to attach to the gun plug. There is a bit of elasticated sleve that then hides it and protects from rubbing.
Cost me £25 quid in a sale from fire support but they are well made with high quality wire and decent sling clips.
The is pretty much the same one : http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_i ... ts_id=2667
Mine was a decent make , but not laylax, butnthe cable length, plugs etc look to be the same, so that one may be a rebranded or copy.
