is there much difference between the 2 shotguns? zeroone has the m1100 revision gas shell ejector for £114, so alot more affordable than the m870!

Aye, there's a few differences... Ejection port is different, that I know for sure. Wouldn't be much use as a conventional replacement for an M870 in a Pulse Rifle, but I'm sure it could be made to work somehow. Just wouldn't look the same.

I asked the same question a while back:

Basically, you can't rack the M1100, since it's a semi-auto shotgun (repeating after every shot). So no cool racking action on the pulse rifle.

So you have to either go with the M870, get a Tanaka 870, a spring ca870 (not sure if that will work) or a resin solution.

cheers guys, just found a youtube vid and seen that you cant rack it

i may go with my first idea, and see if i can modify a cheap chinese gas shotty to fit. i just really dont wanna spend that much on an m870

The different's is alot Rich.

As I got a Maruzen M870 and also a M1100.

Of you can rack the M1100 but it is done by a cocking lever on the ejection port cover like a AK 47.

The body is different and there are not racking arms outside of the body. Plus is longer than the M870.

But the M1100 is a semi-auto shotgun as you can press the trigger and it fires and ejection the shell and load another shell like a semi-auto pistol.

So you can waste all 7 shot gun shell very fast with a fast trigger finger.

Great fun gun the M1100.
