OK! Set up fee is $30 per patch - to be shared by all who want a set.

Each patch is $8 no Velcro $9 Velcro backed

Seeing I have not seen anything but the screaming roo.... I will be looking to submit the following...

What I need from you is a definite yes for the lot, velcro or not.

And I will be going with the roo because you have all had a very long time now to submit something better so if you have something lurking you better submit it now for vote.

Kitty

So with all the fees, how much is it going to be total to get a set?

So far I may have 20 lots just roughly counting people who have responded. I'd think at a guess for 3 patch set being $25 (no velcro) and $27 for velcro - plus about $5 each person to cover the set up fee.
I have messaged the makers to double check their prices are still the same. These are embroidery patches though.

FYI - I just got a quote back from http://e-patches.com/ for a 20cm Delta patch, and they are cheap as chips ... might be worth looking into for your run too?

Alright Ladies & Gents this has gone pear shaped. :(
A month ago I got quotes for EMBROIDERED patches.
Price point was good but there was a problem with the HMAS Endeavour that some of the text was too thin.
80mm Diameter Quantity: 20, price: $6.12 AUD per item, total: $122.40 AUD. Velcro extra. (this quote will have to be resubmitted)
Had a chat to Sgt Dom and asked about a fix on the file. His suggestion was to go WOVEN which gives better quality.
Got a quote back from a local company
80mm Diameter Quantity: 20, price: $11.45 AUD per item, total: $229 AUD. Velcro only in sets of 20.

The first quote I can cover for the 3 patches if we fix the file.
The second is beyond my pay grade committing $1000 up front.

So is there anyone who can fix it? I will ask the graphic designer I work with if she can.

Anything else that should be talked about this get in touch.

Nice work!

Couple of questions / things to consider if you've not already – What about a mix of EMBROIDERED vs WOVEN? If thin line detail isn’t needed across all patches, it might be a cheaper alternative. Also, 20 is quite a big number, are you expecting to sell em all or have some left over stock?

As for a g/designer, try asking Merr-Sonn on the forums here if he’d help out. I’ve talked to him about his Polish patches, and he’s a very nice guy. You can see his work in the Ship registry thread.

There’s also Yellowjacket on the forums here too that you could try asking [Raider patch].

I will look into a costing. I might just do 1 design at a time. As the minimum order is 50. But 100 or more is the number that makes it viable to do a run. might do the Delta southern cross and see how many we move. Then look at the Roo later
