The idea was passed a few weeks ago where we get all members attending dragoncon to show up in their costumes and we walk to the marriott by the pool area (over by the escaltors) and pose for an hour or so for pictures, talk about the group, maybe get some people to join us for next year. I understand this is short notice, but we are thinking of Friday after dinner maybe 2000 or so. If a different time or date would work better for people, please state it in your response. |

That's a good idea. With today's "environment", it's gotten increasingly harder and harder to accomplish the old Colony Sweep. Taking some cool pics as Marines and Xeno's "check those corners" is a blast! Have Fun! |

This was the first time I have been part of any sort of action by the USCM and it was a blast. Thanks for allowing the wife and I to take part. Does anyone have any photos from this they would be willing to share. There was a woman taking quite a lot of shots with what appeared to be a very high quality camera an a separate unattached flash. If anyone knows who she is and how to see those pictures I would be extremely grateful. I was the giant Newt. |

I'm trying to think of some way to contribute. Thinking about an indy/fan film idea... possible low-mid budget reboot of Alien/Predator. I have an idea of an Alien sequel screenplay I got signed by Hicks, Bishop, Frost, Vasquez and the guys from ADI being converted into an (ACTUAL) AVP (in otherwords, NOT "AVP") film that does the original Non-Film AVP stuff justice... but this is just an idea. |
