I just had a crazy thought... Has anyone invited the Atlanta hackerspace group to the Sweep? I don't see any of them in the list. Someone has to have told them about this... Right? |

The folks from the Atlanta marines and xenos build thread in Ready Line. I already spoke to msleeper, we might potentially have a couple more marines and another Xeno joining us. |

Missed this thread, thanks for reminding me =) We're going to just have to play it by ear. We'll be at the parade for sure, but other people have other costumes/photoshoots/etc. so we might have some people drop off. Rachel, our Xeno, will definitely be there, and at least a couple of our Marines to escort her. |

If possible, try to stay in the loop for when Sean and I conduct a walk thru rehearsal at the sweep location. Perhaps Thurs or Fri, 15-20 mins max. And no costume required. It's just a dry run so we don't look confused and the bugs know when/where to ambush. |

The dry run rehearsal went very well. Route and "script" have been figured out, and I've spoken with management at the Westin to check in with them and get their approval, and both their events lead and their security department are on board. All we need now is a deck of cards! |

FOR 2016. I have new speaker update for pulse rifle sounds. I've found a great affordable and compact speaker. It's called the Oontz Angle 3. About $30. Good sound, easy to use and would be great for adding sound. PLEASE look into it. I'll post a vid soon to show how mine works. |

Fellow Marines: I'm planning to come to DragonCon this year. If all goes well on my end, and I get the time off from work, I would be glad to lend a hand with the Colony Sweep. I'll be coming as an "artificial person" with a Bishop-style flight suit. I look forward to hanging out and meeting each of you.
