The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Any one dropping in to Galacticon this coming weekend in Seattle? It's primarily a BSG co, but also has a Lost In Space cast reunion, Firefly cast, and a variety of other shows represented.

I'm going Saturday--hope to see some other local grunts if you can make it out!

Prawn and avocado cocktail? Not your typical con chow!

The Navy is in town, too. These two weren't sure what was going on--especially since Battlestar Galactica and Aliens came out before they were born.

Apologies--eventually I'll get the hang of posting Flickr links on this forum...

It was a trip running into you pelikan. I hadn't checked the boards here in a couple of weeks, so I completely missed this thread. It was nice to meet you on Saturday. If you aren't doing anything this weekend, USS COLUMBIA is dropping in Astoria, Oregon for their annual Astoria Regatta Parade. You, and any other Colonial Marine would be welcome to join us. I realize that it is short notice, but I just thought I would through it out there for any and all to consider. If its open after the parade, we're planning on hitting the Bowpicker for fish and chips after the parade concludes.

Feel free to get a hold of me if you're interested.

yeah, sorry I miss out. I would have linked up with you in gear, but with work and school I have been negligent with checking in on the forums. I bumped into you on the show room floor, though. :) Great seeing more USCM out here in the NW.
