Greetings Marines and Xenos!

This year's DragonCon is approaching. We are registered as both the USCM Color Guard and the Colonial Marines.

We again lead off the Parade.

Please sign up below. There is a limited number of Parade Registrants allowed, DragoncCon has MANY people wanting to walk in their Parade.

DragonCon Parade Organizers have requested that unspoken for Ribbons to be returned so others may use them.

We will be returning to DragonCon Parade Any Unused Ribbons Two Weeks Before DragonCon. Please, Please Sign Up Now.

We are adding an official subgroup to our parade, our beloved pinups! They've been jostled around all over in the past years and have had no official place anywhere. As of this year, they will be in the third formation behind the troops. This group will be led by girlspectre, who in turn will be in charge of standards and activity. Congratulations girlspectre, and thank you for taking on this responsibility.

You're welcome, Dom. First and foremost I want to make this absolutely clear for the ladies that want to be involved.
1. Please let me know in advance if this is something you want to do. If there isn't enough interest, I will scrap this subgroup in the parade. (aka I'll need more than 2 people)
2. Please let it be known that we will be behind our troops. Not to the side, not intermingled, but behind them in the parade.

this is all I have so far. I'll more than likely be starting a new thread to help out our pin-ups.

Can I just put in my 2 cents? I really don't think the pinups should be included in the parade. Sorry, Jess, but it was something fun we did in addition to our normal costumes. It is fine for the table, or walking around, but I don't think it should be included in the parade.

For me, I am still on the fence about color guard this year. I may or may not.

I highly doubt my lack of involvement is going to cause any fuss, but I just wanted to give a heads up that I won't be back to do color guard this year (or the event at all, sadly). Wife might give birth that week... so I am out! I hope to be back in 2016.
