The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

We picked our booth and will be located in #51. It was available and wanted to pick along the lines of Area 51.

I will be paying for shore power for some of my props so I don't have to spend as much on batteries...

I will be bringing Cuddles the huggable face hugger on the RC car setup again. Hopefully I can wheel it around the floor as I did last time, safety, and space permitting.

I also hope to do a redesign on the laptop as my configuration was not accurate enough...

Cuddles the face hugger was a huge hit. One of the 501st guys almost emptied his bladder as he found the presentation so entertaining.

My predator was a huge hit. The leather greaves really worked out great. I will have to get my hands on some predator feet as the werewolf feet were problematic with the greaves.

Since at the last fanboy folks were calling me a baby predator, I was almost debating adding a pacifier to the mask and in all honesty that would make cuddles even more entertaining.

We have leads on some more events from this one.

IF the event organizer broke even and learned enough from this one, we may get to do this again next year.

I would remark that of ALL the conventions I have EVER been to this one had THE BEST selection of toys and not the crap funko dolls everyone sells. Most of the vendors when looked at made me pause and relive a part of my child hood.

If you did not attend you really missed a once in a life time event.

The one thing I have learned from missionary work and cosplay is that if you are not comfortable, you are doing it wrong. Get outside of your comfort zone and attend new cons and you will be rewarded greatly with new friends, members, and opportunities.

If this venue stays the same for next year, bring your RV and park it, There also appears to be a camp ground next door to the venue as it is a fancy rodeo arena.

Also the food at the venue was absolutely dirt cheap compared to other events I have been at.

Haha, guess I'm not the only one who can't stand those things.

Sounds like you had fun though. Are there any pics of the event?

There was plenty of footage, I am awaiting some sort of publication of those videos.
