Hey all,

Charlotte Comicon Sunday December 6th at Crowne Plaza Park Executive Hotel. I'll have a few Charlotte AO Marines in tow, anyone in the area is welcome to breakfast before and dinner after! More info at "http://www.charlottecomicon.com". Only 5 bucks at the door, 12 and under free. Layout looks really mellow.

I may be able to make it for a half day since I'm only an hour and a half drive but I've got people coming into town that evening so I have to check schedules before committing.

I am planning on coming. I don't know if you have the answer but it looks like airsoft pulse rifles are not welcomed or do they just have to be non-functional?

Still awaiting an answer. I contacted them a while back so I expect word any time. I'll post up as soon as I get a response form the organizers. I've also requested to liaise with security about a colony sweep.

Heard back from the organizers. If your pulse rifle is an airsoft gun leave firing battery and any bb's at home. I informed them that many of our PR's were based on airsoft guns, and they consented to allow them so long as they can inspect them and they are not intended or functional as airsoft guns at the convention.

Update: If anyone else is coming great, for now I won't plan on a colony sweep with only two of the local Charlotte AO Marines going, we'll just attend and plan a laid back day :)
