The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK, it looks like a trip down south to meet up with the entire UKCM is going to be impossible, so...

Who fancies an evening at Khublai Khan's in Glasgow on Saturday December 19th?
Meat, meat and more meat.

As Sunday the 20th is a Section 8 day, anyone who would like to play some airsoft is more than welcome to crash here post-foods.

Who's in? ( Englanders more than welcome! )

I can't make that weekend. I'm working nights, and it's the day of the UKCM Avatar showing in Waterloo IMAX.

You don't need to like mongolian food to like Kublai Khan's.
The whole point of the place is that you are responsible for designing your own meals.

You choose the carb, the veg, the meat, and the sauce, then hand your raw bowl to the chef who cooks it on a hotplate for you.

But no, if she insists that she doesn't wanna go there, I guess we can find someplace else.
I just fancied someplace other than China Buffet King for a change! :)

She's gonna tag along and try it :)
Says she doesn't eat red meat - Which is fine, since the meats table also usually includes prawns, shark steak, chicken, ostrich... And I have no idea if alligator counts as red meat or not.

*Remembers*
Julie, Her daughter, Her Mum and myself have booked tickets for Aladdin at the Kings that night.

So we're out unless dates change.

Well, Clay's got the furthest to come unless any of the English lot can make it, so...
Maybe the Sunday, after S8?

If it's shifted to Sunday 20th, count me out. I'm up at 05:30 on the Monday for work. Sorry.

So are you all working thru the week, or are we limited to weekends?
I'm off from Xmas Eve til the 4th of January...
The following weekend is out as Stew Wildeone's not in Glasgow.

When does the panto finish, Fraz?
Could maybe hook up with ya afterwards?

Avatar is on at the Imax.
Showings at 15:45 and 22:15.

Fraz - Can you join us for either of those, then you can go to the panto with Julie while we grab food?
Doesn't look like there's a day when everyone's available for the entire evening... So we mix and match?

Right, so who's definitely in?

Avatar in the afternoon, and dinner after?
That way we're not out TOO late with airsoft on Sunday...

OK, re: Khublai Khan's :
Mongolian Feast is £29.95 over the Xmas period. Apparently it's enhanced with free vodka, flatbreads, extra starters & deserts. ( Normally £22 )
I have a table provisionally booked for 8:30.
Menu here:
http://www.khublaikhan.co.uk/glasgow_me ... khans.html

We need to pay a deposit of £10 per skull by the 1st of December.

The IMAX is £8.95 or £6.95 for students / unemployed.

So if I'm gonna be booking, I need £18.95 from everyone that's coming ASAP.

Can we have a rollcall please? Or is the meal too pricey for y'all?
It's worth it, tho.
