Hi all

The Southampton show will be on again this year on Saturday the 12th December and we have again been asked to attend. It's only a one day show and always an enjoyable one. Exact venue has yet to be confirmed.

Is anybody else available for this? The organiser has asked if we will be attending and I need to let him know. It's only a one day show on the Sturday as usual. If anyone is definitely able to make it then please put your name down over the next couple of days cheers

I might be able to make it for a few hours in the middle of the day. (I have a night shift Fri night and Sat night)

If there is an "Xmas meal", I'll try and get the night off, if I get enough warning of that. Darren? :)

But I've had my armour a year now and haven't had a chance to wear it!!! I've not even worked on it since February when I found out I was pregnant. Just got to convince hubby to watch the baby whilst I play soldier. ;)

I'll let them know that we shall be there but only a smallish turn out. If you can make it G then that would be great.

I did not have any plans for a Christmas meal afterwards. Two reasons - the weekend just gone was sort of that anyway I had thought and I'm also skint lol

I do have to leave on the Saturday to take Kaan to a birthday party and then pick him up again.

Are you planning to stay down this way then Woody? or leave after any evening social?

We could always have an evening in round my gaff (although not overly spacious) and not really any space for anyone to crash over sorry. Christmas take away Chinese anyone lol :)

Or there is a pub down the road.

EDIT** I've just spoken to ADC and he is happy for me to show the Documentary that everyone watched at the evening meal last weekend at my place on the 12th for those that were not able to make it to Collectormania.

So if people are interested then we could gather round mine in the evening, order a chinese or something maybe go for a few drinks in the local or just buy in and then watch the film, which with a bit of luck should be a newer cut with the new footage added in from the weekend :)

What do you all think?

Claire'll be driving, so it'd be up to her.
Being a Saturday, late nights aren't too much of an issue.

That's a shame Vicky. Hope to see you soon though mate.

I spoke to Kate earlier and my sister will baby sit Kaan for me Saturday night so we can watch the film at Kate's place and Woody and Claire are welcome to spend the night there if they want to. I'll have to double check on sleeping arrangements though i.e. if you need to bring anything.

So show in the day and then Kate's for festive chinese and ADC's doc, and maybe a few drinks. I have been known to drink on the odd occasion if I'm forced to ;)

Kate says that everyone is welcome to crash at her place on the Saturday night. Claire and Woody can have the bunk beds in the boys room and Rich and G if you want to crash are welcome to bring your own sleeping bag or something and flake out in the living room. That way we can all have a drink without having to worry about driving home.

There is a Chinese restaurant near by but if everyone (and that probably includes me to be honest) wants to save some cash then we can just order in.

So, if the four of you could let me know if you want to stay over then please do so as soon as you know.
