The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Another thing I should say: Jenette didn't find a contact email address on the UKCM site, so linked through to Aliens Legacy to look for details about Collectormania. She might have looked at the USCM noticeboard instead of the UKCM one, because all she could find was chat about Dragon*Con.

But, the fact remains, Jenette Goldstein reads this very forum!!!!!

Hi Jenette! *waves*

Hi All,

Great weekend as usual, thanks to all.

Ricco & Jenette were great as well.

Jenette even indulged Jonesy when he asked if he and she could re-enact one of his favourite scenes from Aliens.

Image

Great pics Darren and Glen, weird how Kaans focus seems better than yours D!

Couldn't possibly comment on whether Rick smiled or not!

I was born to be a chad Si. :)

OK, here is the video of the presentations...I hope

My FTP keeps screwing around. It appears to be all uploaded but may take a while to start if you just click the link, personally I would right click and download it. It is approx 100 mb. Only a smallish frame size as well. Can't seem to bring the size of the file down much more and can't be bothered to upload it again for the fourth time either

http://www.friendly-skies.co.uk/videos/algawardricoandjenette.wmv

EDIT: redid the video, only 18mb now.

Cheers

Darren

You should really think about using a video format that wasn't devised in the 1980s ...

Consider MPEG4/H.264 (not MPEG1/2), Quicktime (which usually makes use of MPEG4 or H.264 ....) or WMV.

Any of these would be able to do the same or better quality in a filesize of under 20-30 Mb.

However, the content of the file is ACE! Thanks for posting it!

Excellent.

Cheers for posting it.

Thanks to ADC for filming it.

Definitely shows how cool those guys were.

Didn't realise you'd got them into Homers Heroes!

LOL

Too cool.

My pictures are now up :)

Looks like my pictures with Ricco weren't actually taken :(

I did get this one, though...

Looking forward to getting a proper drop at the MCM Expo, seeing as I missed out on the Jack Daniels trauma ;)

Thanks to everyone for making this a fun drop. :D

There wasn't headset cam in operation (it being a public place I was worried about indiscriminate filming), but I did grab a few clips with my camera which I will forward on to ADC... including Abe in the Early Learning Centre ;)

Oh dear Rick. Your reputation for not smiling has definitely slipped this weekend. You'll be laughing soon if you're not careful.

First to leave, last to post!

Great to see everyone again, sorry I could not stay longer but that second bottle of Old No. 7 was calling!

BIG thanks to Steve for the lift to MK, I learnt more swear words in one journey than I did in 30 years watching Crystal Palace on the terraces of Selhurst Park.

Big shout to my replacement late night / morning drinking crew of ADC and G... and also to my new best buddy Kaan who kept me busy and made me eat ice cream and strawberry slush... just what was needed after another all nighter with the UKCM! :!:

Great job at the show guys... you all looked TOP BANANA!

Here to Leicester, and the return of "Ol Jack" :D
