The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi all

I got an email from the organiser of the Pyramids show that we went to in December last year. They are having another one day show at the same venue this year and would like us to attend.

Originally this was going to be at the very start of September but I told them about D'Con and they have pushed it back to the 13th Sept especially so that we can attend.

This was a nice little show last year and I think everyone quite enjoyed it. Obviously it is quite close to post D'Con but if you can make it then sign up here.

Mantroon, if you would like this to be an offical drop then David (the organiser) has asked for us to confirm attendance ASA and he will put us on the advertising for the event.

Cheers

Darren

I'd certainly try my best to attend this time. Hopefully won't be struck down with some horrible illness that weekend again

So I can give you a lift.

I live on the other end of the Ilminster by-pass.

Give me your post code and house name in a PM and I will know were you live.

Hey Steve

I have no idea what time the show starts at the moment but I imagine it will be around the 10a.m. mark.

I'll let him know that we will be attending.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that Darren was without 'net access for a while.

Well, I've still got some space at mine if you need somewhere to stay.

The date for this if I havent mentioned it above (cant be bothered to check) is Saturday 13th Sept. The fliers are going out and there is apparently more advertising being done this time.
It's still only a one day event and the only guest I am aware of at the moment is Dave Prowse.
Was fun last time though.
I doubt I will be able to put anyone up for this but since I stayed in the hotel last year as well with the rest of you grunts I imagine I'll do the same again.

Cheers

Darren

Same hotel would be fine too, had decent bar/food + other food places nearby and Tesco.

Agreed. It may be a good idea to book a coupla tables for dinner in advance – didn't we have some difficulties last year?

Simon, would it be practical to bring that fantastic sentry gun you made? I thought it would make a good centre piece for you guys to be photographed around.

Yeah we split into two for the meal, the good boys n girls and the naughty table.

If I can borrow me dad's car I could bring the sentry.
