The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

For those of us who've never done a drop before what does it actually entail?

I'm probably going to be there but having hubby and babs tagging along I'm not sure how long I'll be able to come out and play for. ;)

I'll be up for that if Edward James Olmos is going. Might have to break out my BSG Flightsuit again.

Crash space at G's reserved..:)

Usual drill is to provide a background while the flashbulbs go off for Abe. Sometimes there is a rebellion and marines go off to find people to take photos of them without an alien in them.

I'm definitely in for this one. Should be special ;)

Sounds like fun. ;)

I'll have a plastic VP-70 and probably my helmet for the table if you want it.

I can do BIGASS printing as well if you're after banners or whatever.

Now that is a handy thing to know...:)
We had been looking into banners but they were about 80-110 quid.

I think it's 44" across and however long you want. Normally it would be £40 a metre but I'm sure I can do you a deal. ;)

Just paper at the moment - matt (42" wide), semi gloss and canvas (which is the £40 a metre stuff).

We're trying to sort out vinyl with our suppliers but I'm not sure how long that's going to take.

i been to london expo a few times, and hotels always sell out months in advance to all the anime lot. so really should book soon.
theres 3 hotels next to the event, the ibis, premier inn, and the custom house. apart from that, its pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) will be there as a guest too. So that's two BSG guests. I'm definately gonna have to bring my 'other' Colonial Marine gear now ;)
